Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Emergency Situations Ministry to send fire-fighting aircraft to Israel to help put out the wildfires in the Haifa area.
An Il-76 plane capable of dumping 42 tons of water on a fire site in a single go will fly to Israel on Friday, along with a heavy Mi-26 transport helicopter, able to dump 15 tons of water in one go.
